Rachel Chen, 26, of North Andover, MA, was sentenced up to 15 years for her role in a “tech support” scheme. Chen was arrested on March 14, 2024 by the Allenstown Police Department after Chen attempted to pick up $22,000 cash from an elderly person. Chen’s co-conspirators initiated the scheme by telling the victim that his computer was infected with a virus. After Chen’s arrest, the investigation revealed that Chen and her co-conspirators had collected $40,000 cash from two additional victims.
