One victim testified that she was duped into sending her savings and income to an individual she believed to be her romance partner, but was one of Usuji’s co-conspirators. The victim lost nearly all of her life savings, and her house. The estimated losses caused by Osuji and his co-conspirators are approximately $6 million.
