Lead the way in protecting the elderly and their families from predators who commit elder financial abuse.
Our vision is to provide educational programs on HOW PREDATORS OPERATE and also teach methods on how to detect and prevent elder financial abuse.
John Schwartz, the Founder and President of the Center For Combating Elder Financial Abuse, is a retired Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) with over 24 years of service. The Center will use John’s expertise to help develop strategies to protect our nation’s elder from elder financial abuse.
The Center conducts research on elder financial abuse to determine the main issues surrounding this crime. Understanding these main issues provides the Center with a direction in which to build a comprehensive strategy to address elder financial abuse.
The Center provides training to: 1) the elderly and their family members, 2) veteran organizations, 3) social service groups, 4) religious organizations, 5) financial institutions, 6) medical centers, 7) educational institutions, and 8) entities within the criminal justice system.
